"Meet Captain Hue"
Captain Hue is originally a native of Andros Island in The Bahamas which is known as the Bonefishing Capitol of the world. He has been fishing these waters for the past five years and has grown rapidly over the years gaining a ton local knowledge, finding all the honey holes and bringing in not just big numbers but big Bonefish.
Capt. Hue has worked with big Flyfishing operations like Ovris, Frontiers, The Fly Shop and Yellow Dog travel and has guided alot of the big names in the sport like Lefty Cray, Chico Fernaderz, Sandy Morret and Mel Krager just to name a few. He has also done allot of fishing around the US and Caribbean for different species of fish.
He is a true pioneer to the bonefishing industry here in Turks and Caicos. His one promise is that every angler that steps on his boat "must catch" not just fish.
"In His Own Words"
I believe that professionalism, accountability and dedication is most important especially working in the capacity of a charter boat Captain/Guide. Team work (proper guide – angler communication) is the key to success on the flats.

"Da' Fishing"
Our fishing days start early, providing valuable fishing time on the flats. We plan the day according to the tides, the weather and the fish, not by the clock. Our experienced guide(s) will have you on the best flats casting in no time. We leave each morning with the day already pre-planned in our minds.
Bonefish follow the tides to feed in shallow water. The tides here in Turks & Caicos Islands flow in an odd way, which works to our advantage. When the tide is low and rising on the North Side, it is high and falling on the Southwest and vice versa, giving our guide(s) the advantage of being able to move through the flats all day. So you are always in the right spot at the right time.
Turks & Caicos bonefish average 3 to 5 pounds. However, the appearance of 6 to 10-pound fish is common, and we land several 11 to 13 pounders a year. Bonefish swim in schools of a few fish to very large numbers, often in the hundreds. Big bone fish tend to travel in singles and doubles, sometimes hiding out in large schools of smaller fish.
Last week was an extra ordinary week of bonefishing. I fished a gentelman by the name of Ed Uzialko from Atlanta who was fly fishing for bonefish for the first time here in Turks and Caicos. We experienced moments where the wind blew up to 25 kts. but that surely didn't stop us from catching bonefish.
We had shots at bonefish that had to be 14+ lbs. I'm sure that was an adventure that will play out in his mind for years to come.
